EXPONENTIAL® ADDS MEDIA INDUSTRY EXPERT TO LEAD TRIBAL FUSION’S EAST COAST SALES TEAM
Top Online Ad Network Builds Local Presence with NYC Office
EMERYVILLE, CA – February 20, 2008 – Exponential® Interactive Inc., a technology-driven media services company that delivers innovative products and services to meet the demands of advertisers and publishers, today announced the appointment of Scott Dornblaser as Tribal Fusion’s Regional Vice President of Sales. Dornblaser will lead east coast operations in the new office located at 1359 Broadway, Suite 1110, New York, NY.
Exponential is extending its presence on the east coast and continuing to build the size and expertise of its sales executives in a move to support the company’s shift to an industry vertical sales approach.
“We’re delighted to have Scott on board. His experience at leading Internet brands including Yahoo, CNET and Friendster will provide us with an invaluable edge," said Dilip DaSilva, Founder and CEO of Exponential. “We have aggressive goals for growth in 2008 and look forward to continued expansion into new markets – both vertically and geographically.”
As the Regional Vice President, Dornblaser will create and implement strategies for the east coast sales team to provide the most comprehensive online advertising solutions for agencies and direct clients to further the company’s growth goals and drive revenue. Scott also will coordinate business development efforts and lead account management among existing Tribal Fusion’s major advertisers.
Dornblaser has spent 18 years in the media space. He began his professional career as a media planner in the metropolitan New York area working on accounts such as Volvo and Nikon, and was responsible for media planning and buying for newspaper, radio, TV and magazines. Over the course of the next several years, Scott worked at Anheuser-Busch, Wired Digital, and sold local radio spots in Connecticut. A decade ago, he moved to the West Coast to advance his career and has since held sales and sales management roles with GeoCities, Yahoo!, Friendster and CNET.
Dornblaser and his team support Tribal Fusion’s long-standing and unwavering commitment to understanding the needs of its advertising partners. To align more closely with advertiser goals and business requirements, Tribal Fusion has shifted to a more vertical sales approach to campaign selling, support, and analysis. This also allows Tribal Fusion’s sales executives to build and deliver specific industry knowledge to clients.
Tribal Fusion’s vertical expertise maps across all major verticals: Travel, Financial Services, Retail, Health, Consumer Goods, Entertainment, Automotive, Web Media, Software, Telecom, and Hardware & Electronics. Each Sales Executive has expert knowledge of their vertical and is skilled in creating successful vertical-specific campaigns.
